
Knowledge Now are formed as a spin out of the University of Sheffield. K-Now are actively engaged with the University of Sheffield in a number of research projects and have a long standing collaborative relationship adding state of the art research to business solutions.

K-Now work closely with Loughborough University in the SAMULET project on the design and creation of specialised manufacturing ontologies for search of engineering data in the aerospace domain.

U.S. Brown University works with K-Now as an expert research user in the grassportal project. They help to direct the search technology used in the analysis and reuse of the worlds grass species.

K-Now works with the Universite de Lausanne in combining phylogentic analysis data with world wide herbarium records to allow researchers to explore species information in combination with phylogentic analysis.

Rolls-Royce have a long relationship with K-Now in various projects, X-Media, SAMULET and SILOET. K-Now are involved in these projects to explore state of the art approaches in Knowledge management for aerospace needs.

K-Now are partners with SUN enabling us to apply our technologies to search using SUN platforms and code.
